North County Regional Fire Authority Offering Free ACT to Save a Life Community Training

North County Regional Fire Authority is offering ACT to Save a Life, a free one‑hour training that equips community members with practical skills to respond during the first critical minutes of an emergency. The ACT program focuses on three essential interventions:

  • Antidote (Narcan) Administration: Recognizing opioid overdose symptoms and safely delivering Narcan.
  • CPR & AED Basics: Hands‑on instruction for initiating CPR and understanding AED use.
  • Tourniquet Application: Proven techniques to control severe bleeding.

While not a certification course, ACT provides valuable, confidence‑building knowledge that can make a life‑saving difference before first responders arrive. The community is encouraged to attend one of the upcoming sessions:

📅 Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00 PM
📍 Station 99 | 8117 267th St NW, Stanwood
